2020 Admissions calendar

Coronavirus pandemic – the admissions calendar has been changed: any tests and interviews are postponed at least until the return from Spring break. Final admission decisions are postponed at least until the end of May.

General information meeting at Lycée Kernanec, with online registration

Saturday 1 February

Open house at EELM from 9am to 12pm

1st phase of the admission process starts.

Tuesday 6 February

General information meeting at Lycée Kernanec, with online registration

Monday 2 March

General information meeting at Lycée Kernanec, with online registration

Sunday 8 March

1st phase of the admission process ends.

9 March – 1st of April

Language tests and possible interviews at Lycée Kernanec, according to a schedule sent by the school.

10 April

Communication of admission decisions, via email to families. Students who are not accepted are placed on the waiting list.

10-26 April

Confirmation of admissions: Families of students who have been accepted login to the dedicated website and confirm their decision (acceptance or refusal). In case of refusal, they give up their spot. If no decision is made, the school considers that they also give up their spot.

27 April – 7 May

Waiting list: Families of students on the waiting list are contacted via email. If families don’t answer, the school considers that they give up their spot.

June

Admission letters are sent via email, by the Mairie de Marcq-en-Barœul (nursery and primary), or the Bureau des affectations de l’Inspection Académique (secondary).

Enrollment: Families enroll the students – via mail or in person at the EELM

June-July-August

2nd phase of the admissions – Only category 1, 2 and 4 (families who move in the Metropolitan area in June and July) may apply.

 

N.B. all communication is conducted via email (application procedure, test notifications, admission decisions and enrollment). Therefore, families should check their email inboxes on a regular basis.
